Contrairement à la porcelaine ordinaire, la matière de porcelaine de biscuit est cuite deux fois. Historiquement cette matière était utilisée pour la réalisation des sculptures, appréciée pour sa rigidité, ce qui confère aujourd’hui à cet objet de design une constitution solide.

A vase of biscuit porcelain, entirely handmade. This sober and elegant decorative work will give a touch of whiteness and light to any interior. It is inspired by the beauty of nature and specifically by locations in Norway, where the artist spent his childhood.
Porcelain makes the work particularly fine and aesthetically well constituted. While fragile-looking, it is, in reality, very strong. Unlike ordinary porcelain, biscuit porcelain is fired twice. Historically, it was used to make sculptures, owing to its rigid structure, in order to provide a solid appearance.
